KENYA,OLYMPIC JOURNEY

Photographic exhibition featuring Kenya Olympic journey is on show at the French Culture Center in Nairobi
The exhibition which opens its doors to members of the public traces the events for may years since the time of Mzee Jomo Kenyatta in 1970 when Kenyans sports women and men where on the top
Kenya's Olympic journey is photographic journey into the World of Kenyan sports capturing the training personal lives and behind the scenes moments that go into the making of an Olympic athlete From the camps in Iten, Where many Kenyas world famous runners make their homes to the boxing clubs in Nakuru and Nairobi, the only  sport apart from running where Kenya has won Olympic medals to rugby teams preparing for the the return of the seventh rugby as an Olympic sports in in 2016 and the perennial disappointments of the national football side this series of unprecedented images offers us glimpse into the lives of athletes as they prepare to defend Kenya national pride in the biggest sporting events in the World
The exhibition is presented by Content House trust and has been created by Robert Njuguna photographer Jackie Lebo curator Roy Gachuhi editor and John Kagagi and Billie Odidi associated editor.
The exhibition which had become the major attraction in the city is a true picture about the power of photography in the modern society as away of recording history
Among the photo which had attracted Nairobians especially the youth is the photo of the founding father the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta taken in 1972 among others.
The Kenya,s Olympic Journey will be on the exhibition from July 30 to 27 August and entry is free to members of the public'
