Top Kenya writer Muthoni Kimani had appealed to younger writers to use there pen in changing the society.
She pointed out that the pen can be used in both fighting evils and changing the society in the modern society
Muthoni was speaking at German Cultural Center in Nairobi over
the weekend during the young women writers monthly forum where she
was guest speaker.
The writer of over 10 best selling books
appealed to the upcoming writers to publish more books on Africa
cultural in order to attract more readers instead of coping Western
Cultural which they don't understand adding that one does not need to
have university education in order to become a great writer
Her topic was based on Africa story telling which she said are rich in cultural and needs to be preserved through publication
Born in 1925 Muthoni still write read with naked eyes something which she id happy off.
She promote her books through public lectures in Schools and
Colleges while her books had been translated both in German and
Japanese
The forum attracted numerous young women writers students and journalist from the city and other parts of the Country
