FAKE MEDIA TRAINING ON SPOT IN KENYA

Media personalities parents and Scholars are worried about the quality of training being offered by media training  in the Country.
They claims some  city based media colleges are offering sub standard  training to students who are seeking   r media training in the Country.
Lead   Andy Kagwa were speaking at French Cultural Center in Nairobi during mo monthly media roundtable
They claimed some students from those colleges cannot write first paragraph  and yet they are degree holders adding that even some lectures in those colleges  had never been to the news room
Instead appealed to those colleges to make sure  that  lectures are  former journalist  who had  been to news room
They appealed to Ministry of Education to take action against such  colleges  with the major objective   of  improving journalism in the Country adding that some  media house are  forced to re  train people  with degrees even  masters
At the some time appealed  to parents and  students to make sure  that they  join registered colleges because media house will no longer employe students  from fake colleges and called upon media council to take action  against  mushrooming fake media training  colleges in the Country
