The government plans to build modern Kenya National Theater in the Country at place to me named later

in the Ministry of Sports Cultural and Arts Ms Leah Adda Gwiyo said
the planned National Theater will be one of the modern in this region
In speech read on her behalf by Ps Ministry of Lands Dorothy
Angote at Kenya National Theater during the re launch of the 62 years
old Maonyesho Gallery she said the Theater will be meeting point of
artist from or over the Country
Gwiyo promised that ones the construction is over Kenya will
start to host inter County festival ranging from Music and drama with
the major objective of fishing out the talents from grassroots level
The
PS noted that the only way to fish out talents is to take seriously
arts education which is very important in early childhood education.
During the function Angote officially launched art a Glance art
exhibition featuring regional artist from Kenya Eritrea and Morocco
The new Gallery open at the right time when East Africa leading art Center Gallery Watatu is facing problems.
Angote promised that the state will make sure that performing arts and Theater is Kenya regains its lost Glory.
