SLUM THEATER FESTIVAL HELD IN NAIROBI KENYA
Austria Ambassador to H.E Christian Hasenbichler had praised the strong relationship between his Country and Kenya in the field of cultural and economy.
He made the remark during the official opening of the third edition of slum Theater Festival at the German Cultural Center in Nairobi were he was the chief guest
The envoy noted that he was happy because his Country involvement in the slum Theater Festival which brings together artist from city of Nairobi slum of Kibera, Kariobangi and Korokocho
He promised that his Country will zoom to support the events whose major objective is to promote and preserve creativity among the youth, adding that is the only easy way youth can earn some income from performing art.
Among the major attraction during the two days events which kicks off from German Cultural Center and ends at Kenya National Theatre were music, dance plays among others.
Present during the colorful events was slum Theater festival patron Phillip Kisia among others
During the opening ceremony anew book on Nairobi titled Meeting Nairobi was officially launched and is already at the leading bookshops
