THE  CAR WAS GIVEN TO ALADWA BY PRESIDENT MOI DURING KANU REGIME
The controversial  VW  Kombi  found at Fred Gumo home was given to the then Nairobi branch Kanu youth leader George Aladwa currently Nairobi Mayor by President Daniel Arap Moi as a gift but later disappeared mysterious before it reached into his hands
The retired President give Aladwa then youth leader the said Kombi together with Ksh 40.000  for fuel since he was jobless by then.
Aladwa told his supporters that iwas given  Kombi by Mzee after arriving at his function late together with over Ksh 40,00 for fuel. but after the function the  car was nowhere never to see it again until when i read it in the press on Monday that it was taken by Gumo
He  said he was left  hopeless for loosing Mzee Moi gift and even after trying in inquirer  from state house official about it. but instead i was told that maybe powerful politicians had taken it
God is great because Mzee was very happy with my work as a Kanu youth leader  and give me beautiful Kombi  but someone took it now  see what had happen to Gumo
I am ready to write a statement because Moi give it to me with money for fuel,but i don't know if the retired  President still remember
