ABOUT 
Omooba Yemisi Adedoyin Shyllon is a Prince of Ake in Abeokuta (Nigeria) from the Sogbulu and Ogunfayo lineage of the Lararun ruling house of Ake in Egbaland who unsuccessfully contested for the throne of Alake of Egbaland in 2005.
Omooba Shyllon is a Legal practitioner, chartered engineer, marketer, stock broker/investment analyst with an MBA degree. He is widely acknowledged as the leading promoter of Nigerian art and culture and the largest private collector of visual art in Nigeria. He is reputed to own the most balanced art collection with well over 7,000 artworks of sculpture, painting and other media, as well as over 55,000 photographic shots of Nigeria’s fast disappearing cultural festivals. His collection ranges from traditional, modern and contemporary art.
