SNAILS THREAT TO PUMPKIN FARMERS IN NAIROBI COUNTY

 Snails are now becoming threat to Urban farmers growing pumpkin in Nairobi
  County and unless solution is found growing of the most loved vegetables and
 fruits will  no more.
Snails are reported to be destroying pumpkin during germination period especially
 during this dry spell and yet majority of Urban farmers who are mostly old
 women have no information on the use of chemicals
The paste  were dictated at Railwayline Vegetable Garden were the destroy
 pumpkin at night and hibernate  in dust during day time due to  dry  season being
 experienced in the city.
 Apart from pumpkin snails are now destroying other vegetables  among Nairobi Urban
 farmers during germination period.
 The only solution  is for scientist  to come out with cheap chemical and more awareness
 to be created
 Pumpkin one of the biggest fruit in Africa is known to have traditions which needs to
  be followed in order grow well
