Nairobi County government had introduced new law which will
bar hawkers from selling water in Kibera slum in order to avoid
loosing millions on shillings to criminals.
The law will not allow those without meters to sale water because
majority of original owners of pipes are known of having sub
sales who pay to them instead of paying to city of Nair\obi.
The new law will also prevent Kibera residence from consuming dirty
water because users use poor quality pipes and end up mixing in dirty
water,
Already majority of Kibera residence receive water two days on
a week,
