LEADERS SINCE 1963 TO 2013 MEANING LEADERSHIP IS IN BLOOD

ILAHAKA FRANCIS
In the past few month since the just ended general election Kenyans including media had been claiming that some families are imposing candidates on them
The truth is that leadership is something in bloody and if goes with social development of given society since creation.
Even according to the bible there was family of leadership read the book of Samuel and those days leaders were anointed and received blessing and those who opposed the anointment which was from God the creator were punished
In  Africa traditions leadership was passed from father to son and that is why boy child was very important in Africa society and that is why Kings married numerous wives so that leadership should be passed to them.
After the arrival of Whiteman tribal kingship was retained eg in Uganda the Kabakais and in Kenya Mumias among other.
Going with Kenyan election history people who attended the first leaders meeting in 1963 are the same people who attended 1978 leaders meeting in Nairobi and if you read history well most of there sons and relatives are  among those elected in the just ended election which is prove that leadership is in the bloody
For those who study Philosophy and have read books like Philosophical Focus on Culture and traditional thought systems in development edited by J.M Nyasani will agree with me that leadership in Africa including Kenya is in blood and will zoom to pass from  father to son and members of society
The different is that in the modern society leadership goes with education and economy so that education is for job  position and economy for empowerment  so that voters should not be bribed during election because they are poor
For those who had study Africa tridions and read novels by great writers like Chinua Achebe, Ngugi Wathiong       Grace Ogot, Peter Ibrahim among other will agree with me that Africa chiefs were rich in terms of animals and children full of wisdom
In thios case judging the just ended election in which Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winners sons and daughters of independence leaders will zoom to lead as unless national history and philosophy is introduced in Schools
