Dreams of Nirobi, Re- imaging Nairobi City exhibition open in the city

Nairobi is  one of the largest city  in  East  Africa with a population  of  more  than 3  million  people.The city faces rapid urbanization which  requires urgent need for  the development of architectural and  urban design solutions that seek to  urban the planning and architecture of the  future  Nairobi
Dreams  of  Nairobi exhibition which  open over  the  weekend at the  German  Cultural  Center  in  Nairobi is  a themed architectural research and  design initiative that  culminates   in  exhibition of  over 10 exemplary projects that  offer the  best responses to the  problem  facing  Nairobi
All projects  were  picked according  to  its sensitivity to  principles of   Green  design and sustainability to  addition ,  all  projects offered a direct response to  economic needs and aligned themselves with plans
considered by  vision 2030
The  exhibition is  organized  and curated  by African urban Futures a think  tank  based in  Nairobi with  the  major  objective  of  creating  awareness.
On 1st Feb there  will be  open  debate  about  the  exhibition  at  the  German  Culture  Center  in  which  members  of  the  public  will  be given  chance  to  ask  questions,
