Mt Kenya  University have  invested over Ksh  10 million in  Ultra modern student Center  to  be  used  by  the  students
Vice  canceller  Prof  Stanley  Waudo  said they  erected afoot  bridge connecting  students center and  the  main lecture  halls at  the  10 store g  building which  will  house additional offices  and  lecture rooms
He  made the remark  during Mt  Kenya graduation  ceremony  held at  the  Thika main  campus  recently.
Waudo  noted  that fundamental  mandate  of  university is  to  do  research  which  is  the  main  pillar  of  any    serious  University  around  the  World adding  that  in  the  last  10  years  they  had  discovered ne  knowledge which  they   wish to  share out  world.
Looking  forward to 2008  to  2018  plan which  aim to discover  more  knowledge which  is  apart  of  Mt Kenya  University  is  becoming  among  the  best  University  is  this   region.
 During  the  ceremony one  honor  degree 216 masters, 1,858 bachelors degree and awarded  among  other qualification  which  the  University  management  hopes  that   will  increase by  next  year  because  numerous  Kenya  are  fater  University  education  which  is  a key  to  development..
Recently  the  University  lau7nched the  Institute of justice security  studies and  ethics,  under  which they  will offer a becholar; of  Arts degree in  justice and  security  studies,
Next  year they  will  admit  bachelor of  medicine and   bachelor of  surgery  program me   respectively
Present  during  the  ceremony  was the  Mt  Kenya boss Prof   Victoria  Wells among  other  who  promised quality  education
