KENYA PHOTOGRAPHERS FORM ASSOCIATION
Association of Kenya Photographers are hosting its first photographic exhibition at the go-down art center in Nairobi
The exhibition which kicks off last weekend had brought together both photographer from press and street photographers in the Country.
Majority of photos on the show had already been published in the local dairies while other are unpublished.
The major objective of the exhibition is to give photographers chance of showcasing there unique photographs which h features day to activities in the society and the World of photography.
It is for the first time for Kenya photographers to come together and the ongoing photographic exhibition is among the line up of activities in the line up said Thomas Mukoya who is there leaders.
Speaking at the venue during the official opening of the exhibition Mukoya appealed to both local and international photographers based in Nairobi to come up and join the the Association which is there main bridge adding that the Association aim is to help them tickle there problem and also try to promote them in one way or another on both local and international scene.
The exhibition will be on the show until the end of this month before going on line and later feature at the international exhibition in Austria later in the year
According to Mukoya there Association will held numbers of workshop around the Country in order to improve there creativity among others.
He pointed out that he is very happy because photographers from both newspapers and magazine are included in the unique exhibition.
