SOUTH ASIA FESTIVAL OF ARTS AND MUSIC IN THE CITY OFNAIROBI


Samosa festival   kicks off  in Nairobi  with  line  up   of  activities on  the line   up   ranging   from films  art  exhibition  art  exhibition   among   others.
The  major  events  which  included  photographic  exhibition  of  Lamu are  at  French  Culture  Center  and  runs  to  September  30
The  South Asian Mosaic  Society and  Arts  SAMOSA  Festival biennial cultural festival uses the platform of  culture arts  and   jusic to  highlight and    encourage racial and  ethnic  unity    in  the Country
It  showcase the best  Kenyan  culture by   bringing  together elements from the East and  the West through production  events which depict  an  intermingling of  numerous traditional  and  contemporary cultural  expressions as it contributes to   the objectives of  promoting national cohesion and  integration   among   others.
Alliance Francaise de Nairobi  is  hosting pre festival film  discussions as well as exhibition and  performances by  Saidi  Goma,  a tribal Sifi  community
The  exhibition was officially    opened  by  the National    Museum  of  Kenya Director  General  Farah  Idle and  among  other  guest
 The exhibition  traces  the  Indians   Muslims   of  Lamu  is  very  useful  especially   for  the students of  history  and  general  art   lovers.
What  makes  the exhibition  wonderful  is   that  most  photos  and forwarded  by  deep  background  something  which  is   not   common  by other  exhibitions  which    had  been   staged  in  Nairobi.
