NGUGI WATHIONG AND HIS ARTISTIC WORK

        Prof Ngugi wa Thiong remains one of the best writer in Kenya for the last 50 years and still going strong.
   According experts  mostly his  workmates at the University of Nairobi  not upcoming writers had
    strung-led to map  the Prof based USA but the crop of younger writers las Kwani bel;ieve that Ngugi popularity is over even if he is international figure.
The debate on Ngugi   artistic style and his failure to return home after the removal of KANU under Moi from power had remains one of the most complex among scholars.
The former University of Nairobi don was against the  leadership of KANu under Moi which saw him running away after being detainee by the regime due to his radicalism but things  become dramatic upon his home coming when his wife was gang raped  before facing women cut at the hands of Kikuyu radicals.
