88 edition of Kenya music festivals comes to end with no improvement

  Sound of African drum marks the end of 88 edition of  Kenya Schools and Colleges music festival in Mombasa with nothing new on the card
 Like in the past best groups  performs at state house and went home  until next years for another political
  speeches.
  Kenya  Schools and Colleges music festival is the biggest in this region   have been mooted by colonial
  administration with the major objective of promoting performing art among the black and the Whites.
 Those days Whites used to perform and Kenya National Theatre and  black and Asians and Kaloleni and Kariorkor social hall.
 Best groups used to perform to colonial masters same thing which is taking place today    50 years after Uhuru.
 Kenya Music festival needs radical change in order to make sure that the festival  has   center in Nairobi so that best groups from County level comes to Nairobi for festivals.
 Instead of best groups performing at state house let have   Theater Academy for those talents to join.because  best pieces   normally goes to waste.
