PLASTIC WASTE THREAT TO URBAN FARMING IN NAIROBI

      Careless dumping dumping of plastic waste materials is
      a threat to Urban farming in Nairobi County
      Majority of farmers complain that majority of the land
      in the city are on top of plastic waiting leading to poor
     production.
     They fear that unless action is taken Urban farming in Nairobi
     will remain a dream, but instead appealed to Nairobi County
      to take action claiming that plants are only active during rain
      season and  inactive during sun shine   due to plastic waste.
    The farmers wants the  City  County to ban  use of plastic papers/
