PRIVATE SCHOOLS TOLD TO WORK WITH OTHERS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE

Owners  of private Schools in the Country had  been advised to work with other  well established Schools and examiners  in  order to avoid cheating and exploitation of students.
Speaking  during the third  anniversary of    Reformed  children   center in  Kibera  Bishop Timothy Mulehi   said  that some teachers  are known  of  giving  students  marks  which they don't.diverse  in  order to protect  there  jobs and yet  the students  are   poor  performers
He  said   that the only  way is for such  Schools  to  work with  others  and  sit  on the Mock  papers which  can  be marked else where so   that the community can  know which students are not  performing well/
Bishop  Mulehi who is  also the  founder of Mashimoni Squatters Primary School in  Kibera slum pointed out  that it  is  wrong for  any teachers   to  give students free  mark  in  order to   protect  his  job
Some teachers are  known  of  giving poorly  performing students  free  marks    with  the major  objective   of  pleasing  there   parents  but matters  becomes shameful   during national  examination.
Mulehi advise  comes with complain  from slum   and  other  part   of  Langata  that  some  teachers are  giving poorly   performing students  mark in  order to  cheat  there  parents  that  they  are  doing  good work.
During  the function a parent  claimed  that his child  was unable to  re-do the work in  which  the teacher  had   given him good  the same  thing, which  means  that  the teacher did  the  work only  to  give the poor  child  to  copy.
Bishop  Mulehi  added   that  there  is  any  way  of  coaching  a child  who  cannot read and  write but   not  writing  for  his  because  such  kind     of  exploitation  is  a criminal   o fence
The  function was  attended  by  parents  students  of   the Center and   friends  who  later   donated   funds  which   will  be used  to buy  structures   for  the construction   of  class  rooms
Those  who  also  donated  and  promised more  support    included  Phanicey Charitable and Bishop   Mulehi  who  also  promised  to  donate  in  one   way  or   another.
The Center  caters   for  children   from  poor  families   and   HIV  orphans  among   others  who   cannot   aford   both  meal   and  School  fee/
Both  Mulehi  and   officials   of  Phanicey  Charitable Foundation  promised  to look for  away  in  which  the  children   can   get  at   list   a meal  a day
