Lead by Prof Karega Munene of United State International University and Assit Director National Museum of Kenya Mr Kiprop Langat said that National history commonly termed by Moi University historial Prof B, Ogot as public history is the only solution to numerous problems facing this Country.
They give example of France which  was facing numerous problems from political to economy and was forced to re write its history and forceful re introduce it in all level of education and since then the Country is among the few  comfortable nation at the European Union
The two  were speaking during public lecture  Heritage and Social Memory at  the German Culture Center as part of the on going series of lectures titled Kenya at 50 in preparation of Kenya 50 years Anniversary next year
At  the same time appealed to historian to tam up and  write books about Kenya history adding that there is no recommended book for Kenya history making it for Kenyans especially the youth to understand where they  are coming from and going,
Prof Karega  pointed out that due to shortage of comprehensive book on history both politicians and journalist are polluting history for there personal gain by feeding thr consumers with fake history.
At the same time appealed to Minister of Heritage to appoint historians  on National Museum of Kenya staff so that Museum can take part in history writing for better Kenya in order to avoid political violence  after every election because they effect national development.
The well published historian blamed Prof Ogot for his fairer to advise the government to include historian on the national Museum of Kenya  staff when he was working there before becoming full time academia
He warns that unless professional historians wakes up from hibernation and write history it will be graveyard for the Country to move ahead.
Prof Munene also took issue with historians who keep on publishing tribalism book instead of publishing Kenya history adding that there is no community which is pure because of intermarriage
