  NTANDO CELE PERFORMS IN NAIROBI.

Visiting South Africa artsit Ntando Cele on  friday July 27 performed evening show at Kuana trust ground in Nairobi.
Like during her past show the  younger star teamed up on the stage with Mumbi Kaigwa in looking at how protesters have risen in the past, if women today  had to protest what would be the  trigger would they from the past experience.
Before the performance the musician turned dance held roundtable about  her artistic journey at  German Cultural Center in Nairobi about  her artistic journey and the important of  performing  art in the modern society after  Uhuru in most African society
The artist who had performed  in numerous parts of Africa and Europe where he uses art in fighting  for women right appealed to upcoming artist to trace the origin of African traditional if they wants to make impact on both local and international scene, because fans needs something which is pure African.
She told Equator,Com  that her dream was to stage the show on  Thuku road in Nairobi where the colonial government fired on protesting women but feared that the law cannot allow her  due to one reason or another.
Nairobi performance was titled Itumba which is a ritual act of the last recourse born of extreme anger, frustration humiliation and failure of prior efforts to resolve conflict
The dance was developt after one week workshop in order to make it suitable for Nairobians among the musicians who teamed with her included Roseline Odhiambo and Mary Kasthoni who are  not new comers to the local artist scene
