Calvary Education Center in Nairobi had launched Bible club with the major objective of introducing students to the World of God and keeping the busy over the weekend.
Students will be meeting over the weekend with the guidance of bible teachers and their normal teachers who will make sure that the teaching are related to school teaching.
The Center founder Bishop Timothy Mulehi told media that bible club will be used as tool to make sure that students are close to the church as they conduct there school studies because majority of the students are known of engage in other activities over the weekend which in turn interfere and affect there studies when it comes to national examination
During bible studies students will be provided with food and other facilities needed while those preparing for examination will use the chance over the weekend to prepare for examination adding that the center major objective is to produce students ready for job market.
He added that already the Bible club had attracted students and youth from Kibera slum which are not students and members of the center meaning that the club can be also be used as social center as far as education is concern
