KENYA ART WORK STILL IN ROME 10 YEARS AFTER EXHIBITION





Art work by Kenyan artist are still st and stranded in  Rome Italy for over seven years since exhibition
The exhibition was held in Cortana during President  Mwai Kibaki regime  and Kenyan group lead by then director of Culture currently Shinyalu Mp fails to return them back and since then art work had been  taken to Rome 
According to Elkana Ongesa who is among affected Kenyan artist the paintings are now at Rome waiting Kenyans to collect them back home,
Speaking in Nairobi Ongesa appealed to the Kenyan government through  its Embassy in Rome to organize for the return of the art work which are at risk
He pointed out that some of the artist who took part in the exhibition are now dead and yet there work is still in Rome
