Korea ambassador H.E Mr Kwon Young dae had healed strong relationship which exist between his Country and Kenya.
He
said that Kenya is knwon or over the world due of its beauty great
culture and friendhip offered to visitors who flocked every year to
view wildlife,
Mr Young made the remark over the weekend
during the inauguration event of the photo odyssey showcasing art by Mr
Kim Byung Tae at the National Museum of Kenya in Nairobi.
He
pointed out that through the lenses of his camera the World will
appreciate Kenya more adding that the picturs can tell more than
thousands words, Kenyas natural beauty and the life of its people
communicated through these photods proves that there is definitely
more to Kenya than mostly portrayed in the mainstream media
Cultural
exchanges are very significant part ofthe cooperation between
Countries because they enhance mutual understanding trust and friendhip
between peoples.
He added that photos on exhibition is one way
of cultural exchange that inhance friendly relationship between Kenya
and Korea , he hopes the photos will open a window for the Korean people
to know moreabout Kenya and open up opportunities for the Kenyan people
to understand Korea better.
The creator of the photos Mr Kim
is also former chairperson of the Korean community in Kenya and has
been taking photos of Kenyas beautioful sceneries and wildlife for amny
years as he makes friends.
At the same times announced that
the first ever Korean culture week will be held in Nairobi later in the
year, and appealed to Kenyans to be ready to test Korean culture
ranging from art, food wine and traditional dance.
While
wellcoming him National Museum of Kenya curator Lydia Galavu promised
that Museum is ready to wellcome Korean Culture events at Museum
