KENYA RESEARCHERS SHOULD LEARN FROM SOUTH AFRICA

Kenya researchers in field of agriculture should copy South Africa and aim
both local and international market with the major  objective of boosting
   economy.
It had become traditional for our researchers to call press conference just
to announce new seed or plant but never to tell Kenyans economical vaue
but instead move to another project.
South Africa are ahead of Kenya for viz in 2008 South African Agricultural
Research Council in Nelsprult developed one of the World firs commercially
viable seed free lemon which perform well on both local and international
   market.
The seed free lemon was first grown mainly in the Eastern Cape which was
   very good achiements.
In order for Kenya to address shortage of  both fruits and vegetablesscientist
and agriculture officers should refrain from press conference kinds of research
and become practical like South Africa
