The photo show pumpkin produced from waste fruits and vegetables at Railwayline
garden.
The seedlings were produced from waste pumpkin collected on Railway line in
Kibera slum under community seeds production with the major objective of
promoting cheap Urban Agriculture in Nairobi.
Old car tyres are used to keep the seedling war during night given that it stores
heat during the day and used by the plant at night.
During pumpkin maturity is spread around the tyre during dry season as it is today
to keep the plant healthy.
