Uganda born artist Moses Jak Katarikawe based in Kenya
had embarked in re doing his old painting with the major
objective of reflecting day to day activities in the morden
society.
The painter who start painting in 60s had been exhibiting for the
last 50 years and most of his work are now classic scattered at
to museums and Galleries around the World.
He is among the top painter in East Africa who single painting goes
for millions and currently his latest exhibition is at Nairobi Gallery
former PC building.
He told media in Nairobi that his paintings reflect Ankole traditions
in Uganda and since there are no more cows there is a need to
make them morden.
He plans to stage family exhibition in Nairobi featuring his wife
and children seens both of them are painters
