JAK KATARIKAWE WORK BACK AT NAIROBI GALLERY

After along silent Uganda born artist based in Kenya Moses Jak Katarikawe latest work is on show at Nairobi Gallery
The painter told media in Nairobi that his latest paintings are obn  show at Nairobi Galllery  which is the leading  center in Nairobi  and is likely going  to attract both art lovers and collectors.

The said paintings are  Jak early  work produced in 60 while still instructor at Makerere University in Uganada and they traces Uganda traditions,but currently the award winning painter is strying to re shaped them with the major  objective of reflect day to day activities in the morden society.
The painter who suffered very much following the closing of Gallery Watatu where his work was based is sluggishly recovering given he lost everything including data prepared by Watatu founder the late Rurh.
Jak whose work had be collected by Musuem of World  cultures told media that he is trying tore constract  his great paings adding that is the lonely way of        preserving and protecting  Africa culture which is dying.
The painter who made history of staying in Nofolk  tower for over 30 years even though being low class student believes that upcoming painters  had much to learn from the old painters.
Jak  boost to be dreaming in pictures hence has more to play in Africa culture promoting through his artistic work he told Equator blogspot 2012.
The painter work goes for millions and are on ahigh demand  by top collectors and art lovers around the World.
