KENYA FACING SHORTAGE OF CHILDREN FILMS

    Kenya is experiencing children short film which are the source  of knowledge for early childhood education.
 Speaking during the monthly Lola Kenya screen at German Culture Center in Nairobi Lola director Ogova Ondego said they are forced to look for children film from around Africa which can be produced locally
He appealed to local film makers to produce short movies with African story instead of copying Western movies which are not suitable for Kenyan children who needs to be educated.
While calling Kenyans talents to submit there production he  termed short film as easy forum of educating youth in the modern society, adding that  story telling had been used in education  children in African society for many years.
Ondego noted that Africa is the home of short stories which can be told through short films and that is  what Lola Kenya screen is promoting through monthly forum and  other  artistic activities
The forum attracted numerous film personalities who discussed  film making and art of story telling in the modern World
 Lola Kenya screen is the lonely events in this region in which small children are given plat form to produce there won film and over the years they had been  presented at the internation
