CRITICS TOLD TO READ OTHER WRITERS WORK

   Local critic in the Country are under fire for feeding there readers with half baked criticism when commenting on books and other related work.
Speaking during women writers forum Dr Tom Odhiambo of University of Nairobi of Nairobi said that majority of criticism work are half baked, adding that in order to improve critic should read other writers books before commenting.
He said critics including journalist in the Country are poor readers while some journalist only  read there own pieces in the newspaper
The don pointed out that in order for both journalist and critics to improve on there work they should read  other writers work  so that they can compare for the sake of improvement.
Kenya is home of great stories but what is coming on the market  cannot make  impact on both local and international scene because they luck creativity added the don.
Dr Odhiombo who teaches the subject at the University of Nairobi added that in order for the debate to be hot   writers should read other work so that they can be aware of what they are writing.
 The most successful  writers from Nigeria and South Africa are making impact on both local and international scene because they are producing Africa stories
