Book lovers researchers and students had lodged there complain to Nairobi governor Dr Evand Kidero over poor management of Mc Millan Library in Nairobi which is under Nairobi City Council.
They claims that the Library was closed last year June for renovation and since then it is yet to start operation while its workers zooms to earn payment
Since the Library is one of the oldest and biggest in the Country they had nowhere to study and contact research given that it has some of the best documents
The readers wondered how it can take City Council of Nairobi over one year to renovate the Library which is poorly managed without modern facilities which included photocopying machine and networking
Very shocking that the Library  which is the biggest in the region and the second largest to Alexandria Egypt is not online
Currently the front entrance of the Library started in 1931 had been turned into parking and collection pocked by near by security officers and the Library management.
The management promised  users that it will open after election and since then nothing had been done
Now the users wants  Dr Evans Kidero to take action because the Library  is useful to users around the region apart from Kenyans.
