UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TOP IN PHOTOCOPYING

University students are on the spot over photocopying of text books and other related materials in the Country forcing publishers to fear publishing University books.
According to publisher who  did  not wants to be named University students are leading in photocopying of text books because they just  buy one text book and photocopy which is a blow to both publishers and writers
This traditions of photocopying had forced both publishers and writers to fear dealing in University books because there is no profit out of it.
Officials of Photocopy organization who did not wants to be named because he also teach in University said that they are working on the formula r to save publishing industry because photocopying had reached at ahigh point on which publishers  cannot pay writers
What is needed is creating awareness on the dangerous of photocopying of text books among the University students and some Scholars
Prof Chris Wanjala of University of Nairobi said even though  they are planning to start regional journal but they are stealing fearing photocopying among the society of academia
He said that the planned journal will bring together Scholars from East Africa region because there are more to be published in the field of research but there is no serious journal.
While appealing to both publishers and readers to  join up and fight photocopying he said that the planned journal will be abridge to East Africa Scholars
