MIJIKENDA TRADITONS
The Mijikenda people are the dominant community in the coastal region of Kenya that nurture the relations with the famous Kaya forest.
They are 9 district Bantu groups who speak closely related langauages, Mijikenda which means 9 tribes of homestead they inlude Chonyi, Digo Duruma, Giriama, Jibina, Kambe Kauma Rabai among others whose cultural are rich than any other tribe in Kenya eg there traditional dance, food medicine among others
In the past years they had been attracting music lovers during the annual Kenya Music and Cultural Center in Nairobi.
