KENYA FACING CONDOM SHORTAGE AS THE PRICE RISES

Kenya is facing Condom shortage since the start of the just ended election process according to  government officers who talked to media in Nairobi and did not wants to be named
Currently  government hospitals no longer give free condoms as traditional forcing private dealers including kiosk owner to rise the price not only that even to  exploit the users majority of them from poor background.
Condoms are currently sold between Ksh 20 and Ksh 30 from the normal price of Ksh 10 shillings and the price may rise unless the government start issuing free ones a private seller who also work's in government hospital told media last night
One woman from Kibera slum said  that now they are choosing between Sukuma week, milk or condom because getting Ksh 20 shillings is another problem due to financial difficulties
It is feared that unless the price of condoms drops majority of users from poor families and younger star may prefer un protected sex which is dangerous
