Nigerian art scholar Phillips Lexie Nekwe over the weekend calls for the establishment of African culture next worker in the region.
He said that Africa culture is useful during this 21 century and the only way to promote and preserve them is through cultural net work which can bring talented artist together terming Africa as the home of mixed cultures.
 Nzekwe was speaking at Nairobi Art  Center to mark the end of 2012 to 2013 International Residency Program me held at Kuona Trust and brought together both local and international artist
During the events the artist also staged his first solo art exhibition in Kenya showing art work he created while in Kenya.
The scholar who currently a Doctorate candidate  of sculpture at the Delta state University termed culture as the only easy way Africa can express there inner  feeling and promote there dimity
Present during the  events were representative from Kuona trust lead by Sylvia Gichia who promised that Kuana trust will zoom to promote both local and international artist through culture exchange programmer.
The international residency was partly  supporter by Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands Kuona Trust among  Iroko Arts Consultants among others

Visiting German Scholar Dr Johannes Michael Nebe had praised the strong relationship  between his Country University students and Kenyans.
He pointed out that younger  German academia has much to learn from Kenyans when it comes to a joint project in the field of research in numerous fields.
The University of trier in German don was in the Country recently to launch a book titled Peace Building Management produced by Kenyatta University students and German students in reference to 2007  election violence which shocked the World
The students  of the University of Trier in German and Kenyatta University  students  have put immense effort and deduction in ther work which he termed as excellent work for younger academia.
Speaking during a well attended lecture at German Cultural Center in Nairobi  he added that the project is an exception example of younger academia in contributing to peace building in the modern society
 The new book which is among the first academic book produced by University students is already national best selling in the Country and is likely going to generate hot debate.
The book is nothing more that what happened during the 2007 election violence in which properties were destroyed and numerous people died
 During the historical project students talked to victims both in Nairobi slum which were affected and in the Rift valley which was hot spot according to local media and international communities.
 The 299 pages book PEACE BUILDING AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT makes a good reading for both students, academia and politicians who are to be blamed for violence
