OLD MUSIC AND CULTURAL FESTIVAL IN EAST AND CENTRAL AFRICA STARTS IN NAIROBI ON THURSDAY.

The  annual  Kenya  music  and  cultural  festival  kicks  off  this Thursday  in  Nairobi  with  numbers  of   items  on  the  card.
Among  the  major  attraction  will  be  traditional  dance  from  all 46  tribes  of  Kenya  given  that  every  province  had  been  represented in  this  year  events which  is  the  biggest  cultural  extravaganza  in  the  Country.
According  to  the  organizers of  the  festival  at the  Ministry of  Cultural  and  Heritage most  groups  items  has  the  theme  of  peace and  the  forthcoming  election
During  the  festival  which  is  the  first   since  the  death  of  the  festival  former  official  Dr  A.  Kimoli  who  passed away   recently some  groups  will  perform  his   own  composition.
Before  the  festival  starts  groups  will pay  one  minute  silence tribute in  honor  of  the  late  director  of  cultural  G.  Gatheru,  Dr  A,  Kimoli  and  Prof  Francis  Imbuga.
The  long  week  festival  is  the  lonely  cultural  events  in  the  Country  which  allow   low  class  students  to  share the   stage  with  university  students
Kenya  Music and  Cultural  Festival  is  the  biggest  festival in  East  and  Central  Africa   mooted  by  colonial  government  with  the  major objective  of  promoting performing  arts  among  the  Whites  and  none   Whites.
Kenya  Music  and  Cultural  Festival  is  the  lonely  events  which   zooms  without  any     problem  during  the  second  World  war.
