MAKING OF KENYA PRESIDENCY FROM KEANYATTA TO KIBAKI

Making  of  Kenya  Presidency is  not easy as  majority  of younger  politicians  who  are  racing  to  state  house  believes.
Going through  history  of  Kenya since  independence  the  first  three  President starting  with the  founding  father Mzee  Jomo  Kenyatta  to  the current leader  President  Mwai  Kibaki were  nationalist who  suffered alot  before  climbing  to  the  ladder
Kenyatta  himself  was  freedom  fighter  who  spend    many  years  in   jail later  to  become  Kenya  first  President  in  1963 upon  his  death  in  1978  his  long  serving  Vice  President  Moi took  over as  the  second  President  of  Kenya.
President  Mwai  Kibaki  who  took  over  in 2002 is   a man  of  history given  that  he  left his good  job at  Makerere  University to  help  KANU without any  payment later  to  become  Vice  President  of  Kenya but   he  was later   removed  and  given  Ministry  of  Healthy.
Kibaki left  KANU   to  form  opposition  DP with former  Minister  John  Keen  and  it  was difficult  for   him  to  win    Presidential race because KANU under President  Daniel  Arap  Moi  was strong  for him  and  divided opposition.
Kibaki  only win the  race  with  the  help of  joint  opposition and  the rebels  from  the  ruling  party  KANU.
As  we head  to  2013  election i have  compiled  anew book titled Making of  Kenya  Presidency from  Kenyatta  to Mwai  Kibaki  which  will be  published  early  next  year.
Making  of  Kenya  Presidency  from  Kenyatta  to  Kibaki  offers  historical  background  of  Kenya election  based on  historical  background.
According  to  the  book  majority  of  those  racing  to  state house  has  no  leadership  quality like the first  three  leaders  namely  Kenyatta,  Moi and  Kibaki  and  the  only way  is  to  read  history.
The  book    also  traces  Kenya  leadership  from  1902 when  Kenya  was still  under  colonial  leadership.
