PRO FRANCIS IMBUGA PASS ON

Kenya art  lovers mourn top Countries playwright  Prof  Francis  Ilmbuga  who   passed away on  Sunday  from  stroke.
The  Kenyatta  University  don is  remembered for   Betray   in  the  city, Man  of  Kafira,  Return  of Mgofu, Aminata Shrine  of  Tears Kimera among  others which  are  popular  not    only  in  Kenya  but  in  other  parts  of  Africa
The author  was  also dean  at  Kigali  Institute  of  Education  where  he  had  done  commendable  work  given  that  he  was invited  there  to   restructure  education.
Imbuga  who  healed    from  Maragoli  start   his  artistic  work  while  still  student  in  Western  Kenya  and  some  of  his  books were some of  the  winning  play  by  Kakamega   high  School in  the  National  Schools  and  Colleges  drama  festivals.
Prof  Imbuga  death comes  barely  one  month  after  the  death  of  Dr  A. Kimoli whom  he  shared  stage  with  in  Mantu.
