POLICE OFFICERS KILLING IN KENYA SHAME

Last weekend  killing  of  over 42  police  officers in Baragoi  Samburi  County is  a true  picture of  the  Countries  weakness in  the  security
Police  are  there  to  protect   members  of  the  public and  it  is   wrong  for  the  same  officers  to  be  killed by  cattle rustlers who  were  armed.
This  vividly  proved  that cattle rustlers and  other  criminals are  more  armed  than  the  Country  securities meaning  that  life  of  members  of  the  public  are  at  risk.
Following  the  incident  which  shocked  the  nation  the  government  should  think  afresh  in   police  training before  it  is  too   late
While  this is  happening  politicians  are  moving  around  the  Country  with  campaign instead  of  mourning  and  addressing  security  issues
It is  time for  those  politicians  racing  for  state  house  to  stop campaign   and  address  security  issues  first if  they  real  means  that  they are  ready  to  take  over  from  President  Mwai  Kibaki
