Mt KENYA UNIVERSITY TO OPEN BRANCH IN SOMALI

Mt  Kenya  University plan  to  open  a branch  in  Somali  before  moving  outside  of  Africa with  the  major  objective  of    connecting  academia
Mount  Kenya  University Chancellor  Prof Victoria Wulsin  told  academia  gathering  in  Nairobi  that they   are    targeting  the  war  torn  Somali by  establishing  there   a branch and   later  move  outside of  Africa
She  pointed  out  that  Somali  needs  University  education so  that  it  can    move  with  other  Countries  around  Africa  and  the World,  adding  that  only education  can  change  Somali  attitude
Prof Wulsin  promised  that her  University major  aim  is  to  unite  Africans  Countries  through  high  education  and  that  is  why it  has  established  branches  around  Africa
Ones  the   branch  is  opened  in Somali youth  and  academia  from the area will  be  able  to   mix  with  other from other  parts  of  the World,  because  only  modern   education  can  change  the  minds  of  Somalis added  the  Prof
Mt  Kenya  University  will  become  among  the  first  Universities  in  Africa to  open  branch outside   which  is a great  improvement  as far  as high  education   is   concern.
The    University  which  is  among  the first  growing  in  Africa  had  established  branches  around  the  Country  and  other  parts  of  Africa which  are  reported  to   be performing  well.
Recently  MKU rolled its  research program me  of  its  kinds  in  Africa because  the  University  believes   in  research  as  the  foundation  of  any  given University.pointed its   Pro Chancellor Prof George   Eshiwani.
