Dozen of  Scholars,students, personalities ,friends and  choirmaster attended funerals  service of  the late  Dr.  A. Mudogo  Kemoli  held  at  Friends  International  Ngong road in  Nairobi capital City  of  Kenya
Among  those  who  attended  one  of  the longest  funeral  service  of  our  time  included  the late  Kimoli  classmate  .Ambassador.B  Kaplagat,  Prof  Henry  Indagasi  of  Nairobi  University,  former  Director  of  Culture  S Anami,Dr  H.Chakava  Esast Africa  Education  Publisher, Kaveza Adala  former  University  of  Nairobi  don among  others.
Speakers  after  speaker  termed  the late founder  of  University  of  Nairobi  choir  choir  Dr   Kemoli  as  father  of  music  in  Kenya who  spend  his  life  time  promoting  Kenya  music  on  both  local  and  international  scene.
While  calling  upcoming  musicians to  continue   were  Kemoli  left  they  call  upon Kenya  Music  and  Cultural  Festival to  remember  Kemoli  by   introducing  special  class  during  the festival  in  his  honor with  the major  objective  of  motivating  them
Music  lovers  arrived  at  the church early  in the morning to attended  one  of  the log erst  funeral  service  in  order  to  pay  there  last  respect to  the  late  former  University  of  Nairobi  don who  past  away last  week
After  the service  which  ended  late  in  the evening city  based choirs  and   his students performed  joint concert  outside as members  of  the public  view  his  body before  it  was taken  to  his    home for  over night stay  before  being  to  his  home   of birth  in  Western  Kenya
Even   though  gone  the late Kemoli  magic still  stay because  majority  of members of  mushrooming  groups  in  the city  are  his   students while  at  every  home  stead   from his birth  place of Vasanaiga  are    musicians.
Apart  from being  choirmaster  the late  University  don  was a poet,  writer and  a critic who   wrote aguide for  Muntu and   left  behind  over  8  unpublished  books something  which is    not  common  with  other dons  one  they  enter  into    lecture rooms
Commonly known  by  his   song  Fimbo  ya  Nyayo  Kemoli  contribution to  the development    of  Kenya  music  cannot  be forgotten   in  a short memory
 The musician last  funtion was  at  Panfric  hotel  during  the official  launching   of  a book  on  Kenya  musicians  were  he    featured  in and  his  last  call was for  the government  to   re introduce  music  in  Schools
 His  last  dream  was  that  some  of  his books can  become  set books in both  Primary  Schools  to  University  because  they   are  rich  in  Cultural.
