At list three people suspected to be hanging on passengers train were
on Monday evening crashed to death when the train collide in fire wood
on railway line at Line saba in Kibera Nairobi.
According to witness the train was speeding when the hanging
passengers were thrown out by hanging fire wood and timbers placed on
the line by hawkers.
The train crashed them to death without
the knowledge of the driver, two of them died on the spot while the
third one died later while crying for help in pains as members of the
public watch
Hawkers in Kibera slum line saba had invaded the line with fire
wood and timbers which hanging, without knowing that they are dangerous
both to the train and passengers including those walking around the
congested line
The villagers blamed hawkers for invading the line with the knowledge of administrators.
Cases
of passengers being thrown from moving train by timbers hanging on the
line had increased in Kibera slum line saba but Monday incident in
which three perished was wise and urgent action needed to be taken.
The incident took place few meters from Laini Saba chief camp with good numbers of police officers
