NAIROBI COUNTY TO SUPPORT URBAN FARMERS

Nairobi had embarked on promoting city based.  urban farmers to become productive  According to  pregame agriculture officers who are based at Nyayo house had be re located to sub counties with the major objective of working with farmers in one way or another.  Farmers had been advised to form groups in order to benefit from the govermen5 funding's as well attend workshops on modern farming technologies  Apart from workshops they  will receive seedlings fertilizers  and be introduced to ready market. Nairobi County believe that urban farmers can produce to vegetable production if they are well educated on vegetable production instead of depending on food supplies from near by farmers.
