book on nairobi contact zones out

The long awaited book on Theater performance was launched on Wednesday at German Culture  in Nairobi.

 The book titled Contact Zones NRB 10,Six and the  City 6Short Plays on Nairobi is compiled by Billy Kahora, Andia Kisia, Tony Mochoma, Kevin and Njoroge.

It is among the ongoing project by German Culture Center in Nairobi to record Nairobi  scene by upcoming writers of Kwani generation

The plays were first acted in Nairobi last year and attracted numerous theatrical lovers. who filled the hall to capacity something which vividly proved that Kenyans are now realizing the importance of there on production noted  Dr Tom Odhiambo of Nairobi University who edited the book.

During the book launch which was free entree  the hall was full forcing some audience  to stand something which is not common during single production in Nairobi those days.

The play which is production for Kenyans by Kenyans deals with day to day activities in Nairobi among them morality among University students some  who had been ending there life in the past.

Thanks goes to writers of the book and actors and actress who makes sure that audience are active during the short performances.
