KIBERA RESIDENCE WARNS STRANGERS OVER SOWETO HOUSING PROJECT






     Residence of Kibera  in Nairobi had warn against strangers being transported into the village with the major objective on occupying  new housing unity almost ready.
  Lead b7y Nyayo Highrise  ward Representative  Mr Maurice  Akuk said that they  are opposed to any move to allocate  houses to strangers who are not residence of Kibera slum because the projects belongs to them
 They warn that  such move will be  rejected adding that they will  forcefully  mo0ve to new house and lock outsiders out and warns those behind the sinister move
They  were speaking during public rally held in the area over the weekend with claims that strangers are being transported in the area at night.
 During the well attended rally   they formed committee made of villagers who will monitor the allocation of new Soweto housing unity which is apart of government slum upgrading  protect
 At the  same time warns residence against selling their  IDs to rich people because the project belongs to the poor in the slum
 Akuku noted that the project will change the image of the slum because it will no longer be tourist attraction as it had been in the past and  appealed to villagers to  be peaceful during the ongoing vetting exercises  whose major objective is to   fish out strangers
The firs face of Soweto housing is almost ready for occupation  before another slum for group B is  flatten
