ART WORK WHICH WAS DISCOVERED BY POLICE IN KITENGELA NAIROBI BELONGS TO WATATU
Art work which was found packed in Nairobi Kitengela area belongs to Gallery Watatu according to the daughter of the late Watatu boss Adama Diawara.
Hawa Diawara told media in Nairobi that the art work which is biggest in East Africa and Sub Sahara were his fathers collection and those of artist from Africa and others parts of the World.
She pointed out that she needs to know who are behind the African biggest art scandal and appealed to police to help them arrest those behind the scandal which had shocked the World.
Hawa added that even though some artist had collected there work majority of great art work some created during 14 Century might had been already out of the Country by deadly West African dealers based in Nairobi accusing there boss Koffi to be behind the scandal ever reported in Kenya art history
Last week Kenya police discovered art work packed in Kitengela ready to be shipped abroad and already Adama own son id being held by police.
Gallery Watatu was the biggest art Center in Sub Sahara region with collection around the World because it presented both local and international artist.
The Gallery got into problems following the death of Adama Diawara two years back the original owner Ruth from German who was Adawa wife passed away in 1996
